I got an email update from Great American Music Hall and Slim's yesterday saying all their upcoming events and contests. I entered my name in one of the contests offered. Although I didn't know who Robert Earl Keen was I still entered my name. I mean, all you do is enter your name, right?? It has been my habit to take any chances available out there. I have learned my lesson a long time ago. I got 3 movie tickets equivalent to free entrances for 6 people but never realized the show was already over. So from then on, I made a pact to myself that for the next chances I could get along the way I would really take advantage of them. You really never know where your luck is going to take you. So I always get lucky to receive free movie tickets etc., the one I loved the most was the free tickets to see Legally Blonde Musical at the Golden Gate Theater... Now I just won a pair of tickets to Robert Earl Keen's show at Slim's, plus some autographed guitar strings and cds to be mailed to my address.  This could be something different, you know! Country Music!!!

BUT I'm just going to get my tickets and won't show up, just to have my name crossed out on the Guest List. Tooooo bad  really. If I really don't have a Math test tomorrow, I'll come. Sorry!
