And.. I just received my Int'l Film Festival membership card (FILM ENTHUSIAST) the other day. Sweet.. I'm sure going to watch German, French, Filipino, Spanish etc films pretty soon...

So my history classmate and I went to Union Square this Friday, wala lang checking out some Art Gallery displays, then lumapit samin ung mga fellow pinoys na akala namin nag iinterview, pero they wanted us to say something like this, "In San Francisco, my dad makes Adobo with bay leaf.... What's in your adobo?" haha.. and when's it's Bernadette's turn, she said, "In San Francisco my lola makes Adobo with lots and lots of vinegar.. What's in your Adobo?"..
Hay naku, kung alam niyo lang, SHY TO THE MAX ako! I wasn't looking in the camera, so maybe si Bernadette nalang ung e include nila... We thought it was a random experience, and an embarrassing one! Sa MAY daw e air sa TFC..
Hay, sana may kasama akong friend na nag jeGerman para sabay kami nag-aaral ngayon. As usual nag dadialogue na naman ako nang mag-isa. Hay buhay. In God's will, sana next sem kasabay ko pa rin mga classmates ko, at least may pinagsamahan na kami. But I hope may pinoy friend akong ma convince na mag language class next sem! Okay so bakit nga ba ako nagtetake and gusto pang magtake ng language classes? Kasi, ang sagot diyan, gusto kong magbasa ng magagandang lumang books na hindi natranslate sa English! d ba inspiring! =D so mostly na sagot ay "I want to travel".. Eh d syempre lang pag may perang pang travel why not, d ba..pero matatagalan pa para magka pera na pang travel.. So in a little while, balik muna ako sa aking munting hide-out.
Sa ngayon may headstarat nako sa Spanish and German. Nge, dami pa natitira. Hope God will still give me the opportunity to learn more!
Uhh... Latin? - para mababasa ko na ang mga lumang scriptures, ok so basically for religious reasons..pero problema hindi tinuturo sa City College, next.. French? - well of course who wouldn't want to learn this famous and beautiful language? French pastries nasa isip ko Italian? - all I can think is amoré , and the renaissance.. Russian -- KGB! Lols.. Icelandic - noon pa gusto kong pumunta ng Iceland kasi na in love ako sa librong binasa namin sa English class noon.. Welsh - for some reason gusto kong malaman kahit isang poem lang.. Swedish - para sa aking pinsan na the only way we communicate pag umuuwi sa Ph is through actions.. Nakakapagod din ha.. then maybe, Arabic, and Japanese -- para sa akin pinakamahirap! Chinese naman, ayos lang..
Hala... pero sa totoo lang, kahit anong wika, lahat sila magaganda! I like eating diff cuisines, listening and speaking foreign words, understanding new cultures, learning new histories and geographies, meeting and communicating with new foreign friends..
magastos nga lang and time-consuming! pero... Ika nga, 'either you find a way, or make a way'..

I feel sorry for my sister! Her wallet got stolen at work, all her credit cards, ID etc. were there! Thieeeeves! Pathetic, they used the CC on gas right away, and POPEYES??!!!!! come on..
It's so weird 'cause I just received the bad news today, and I already dreamt of my sister 2 days ago that something bad happened to her (she got arrested for poisoning her coworkers) damn.. and the opposite thing happened! I should have called and warned her after that horrible dream. *Sigh..
To finally come to "The End" is merely just a door left ajar waiting to be pushed lightly through a tip of a finger, so to expose the whirlwindlike beauty of Tolkien's works! What better way could I ever be drawn intimately to the author's mind and spirit than reading his biography? It was a pleasure reading such a book, because without any coercion I surprisiningly found myself in one of the library aisles getting caught in a deja vu. I felt being pulled back to my 'Hobbit' memories of pure drunkenness. I now feel I have a legitimate reason to explore Silmarillion, Lord of the Rings and the rest. It's going to be a long journey considering I have E.M. Forster to deal with for my school paper. In addition to the drinking session, I have not completely abandoned the thought that I just recently bought C.S.Lewis's books. I deeply admire Tolkien's and Lewis's friendship that I feel so inept if I don't read them parallel to each other! As I said, it's going to be a long journey, but then again "tolerance can lead you to learning something" (I forgot who said it), isn't it right?. I can't wait to get drunk!
I was all day at school yesterday with friends, writing our English paper. We could have spent 5 hours without finishing one paragraph, you know, so we decided to loose up a bit, head out and eat our late lunch in Stonestown. I felt like I really had a long day even it was only 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon. I was sick with colds, and back/neck pain, in short I was really not up to par yesterday! BUT! Not until my friends were driving me home when I suddenly felt the urge to open my email through my phone. The first thought I had when I saw JON FOREMAN UPDATE was maybe it was just the ordinary EP releases news, tour dates, and some encouraging words from Jon, but boy... OH BOY! He's coming to San Francisco! I saw the place DOLORES PARK CAFE (I KNEW EXACTLY WHERE IT IS!) and then I checked the date FEB 20, (that had me thinking) hmmm TODAY IS *checking my phone, confirming it was indeed FEBRUARY 20! haha. @ 7:00pm FREE show!
I can't explain what my total reaction was, my friends said they got scared when I just screamed all of a sudden at the back of the car. Haha!!!! And so while on the way home, I plotted... plotted.... First, I only have three hours left to prepare for my English paper, study my German, get my stuff ready for work, and take a shower. First time I did an essay in only 1/2 hrs! straight to trash? hahaha 30 minutes left.. No more studying for German class, I hurriedly printed my paper, took a shower and Zoooooooommmmmmmmm! pheew!
Not over yet, So I took the L-Taraval/Embarcader train to CHURCH station, then took the J-Church, got off Church and 18th, and just walked a block to the Cafe... I was late! I arrived at 7:15pm the show was almost over. But then I really had a perfect view of Jon outside the cafe. I took some videos, pics.. not really nice pictures but they will surely be kept in safety. hehe.. I'm usually a shy person, and I don't like introducing myself to someone new, but last night I did introduced myself to a guy behind me and asked a favor if he could take a photo of me with Jonathan. He said "yes". He said he only have his cellphone so I offered to take a picture of him in return. SWEET!
Jon was really nice, soft-spoken in person. Everything was so mellow last night, but my heart was pounding like a crazy stampede! haha... the picture says it.. Me: Hi, Jon! I'm Eunice Jon: Hi, I'm Jon. and the rest of the "Isa Pa" and "Balut - I would never eat that again" little chat followed..
"It's really nice to meet you in person" .. I didn't know what he replied.. hahaha! Then after the picture taking (just one ShOT), I thanked him and left.
HERE I AM WITH JONATHAN FOREMAN! I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE, REALLY! It seemed a long day and night for me, but looking at this picture makes me smile and think that some things happen unexpectedly just in the blink of an eye, and I might as well savor every moment of it. It's a blessing, a gift, a present.. I don't know. I'm just in awe and I FEEL SOOO DAMN LUCKY!
P.S. Feb 20.. just six days after Valentine's Day, last year I went to Switchfoot concert on Valentine's Day.. hmm?! hehehe!

Grabe! As in thrilled tlaga me! I received the email kaninang hapon lang na he's gona be at Dolores Park Cafe, are you kidding me? that's my old place! Hahahahaha... so kahit may essay me sa English na dapat maraming oras kong gagawin, tinapos ko ng dalawang oras lamang! Ewan ko kung ano pinagsasabi ko dun! Hahahahaha.. Anywho back to jon, so I was there standing outside the cafe kasi puno na sa loob, then pgkatapos time for pictures na, naku I INTRODUCED MYSELF sa isang lalaking indian.. Oh yeah we talked about how long we've been fans of switchfoot etc etch.hahaha! He's from San Ramon, imagine!?! So un sya kumuha ng pic ko, then kinunan ko rin sya ng pic... email ko nalang sa kanya......haah I'm so happy!!! Pero dismaya me sa aking fez! Hahahahahahahahaha... i don't care! I just met jon, you knoe! Hehehe.. Now I'm gona grab some something to eat before heading off to work... love this night!
I guess the whole week of going out prior to this day is considered a CELEBRATION? I'm badly beaten and tired from having fun. I'm sorry! I feel so bad for SOMEONE!
Grabe, ito na yata ang pinaka busy kong life, na hindi ako nagrereklamo. Maraming offers na bakasyon dito bakasyon doon, pero iniisip ko pa rin ang aking work. I can say that I really love what I'm doing na talaga, na hindi ko makuhang mag absent nang 5 days para sa isang planong bakasyon sa Hawaii. Nasasayangan ako. At saka, kakasimula lang ng school, then baksayon na kaagad. Meron din offer na mag cruise daw sa Cabo, San Lucas this Spring break, meron din na pupunta sa family sa New York and Jersey.... As much as I want to go, hindi ko maiiwan ang aking work. It's a sweet guilt, though. Oh well, sana makaipon rin ako para sa mga trips na iyan. Hehe. Baka ako lang mag-isa, a la Eat, Pray & Love.
Nga pala, I dropped my ballet and Stat class! Sungit ng ballet teacher! Imbis na maka relax, naistress ako... Stat was ok, but it always slows everything down especially I'm taking English (Critical Thinking) dami babasahin and intinhin and essays.. Sabi ng counselor ko, take Math 70 daw next sem. Hehe..kasi daw it's a better Math for someone like me who's always struggling in the area tsk tsk..
Now, History of SF is a heaven! Parang ayaw ko palagi na natatapos yong class, it's like listening to bed time stories..hehe! German class is so upbeat, very fun! of all my classes in CCSF eto lang yata ang hindi ako nahihiyang magsalita! Kasi lahat kami non German speakers..haha! English class is crazy. It makes me crazy. Psych21 Life Span Development class naman is like "awww, I wanna have my own baby sooon" hahaha... coz ang stages from conception to babyhood haha, is just cute! Parang naiiyak talaga me...
Hindi na yata me inspired mag take pictures ah..kasi naman puro ulan and lamig! Eh ayaw ko talaga ng ulan.. Gusto ko after school, kakain, matutulog, mag-aaral, maglilinis, magtrabaho. Yon lang. Wala na iba. Bow.

Five years of living in San Francisco and I still do feel like a spellbound tourist! Haha...
Am I ready or not? I guess I'll be giving Probaility & Statistics a second chance to drill this once combative brain of mine. I remember I dropped the class day before the first exam. With overwhelming Microbiology, Philosophy, Speech and a 4hr job each day, last semester, how on earth could I cope with Math! But, to have proven Microbiology as the most difficult and challenging class in all science prerequisites, I can now say that the rest would just be bonuses. I just wish I did better! Well, I guess it's time to move on and be the best in whatever those bonuses would be, say, Beginning Ballet or Beginning German, perhaps? Haha. No kidding! I registered 17 full units this time, sounds like a glutton in the matters of food, but sure enough I am a glutton! Mark Twain refers German as an awful language; or people may say it's too late to learn Ballet. Well, I'm a person who doesn't believe anything until I've agonized a great deal in all aspects of my being (mental, physical, emotional) to achieve "good" evidence. Granted, after all the those "awful" experiences, I always found love which later lead me to more and more interests in life. What a consolation!
13 days have passed since the new year, I hope I still have my resolutions intact. =) Although I've always experienced all sorts of dreadful things, there is no way I would wander from what I believe in.
